2026 Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Details:

Stipendium Hungarian Scholarships offers a wide range of courses for high-achieving international students with an excellent academic track record.

The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship is based on bilateral education agreements between Hungary and the governments of the sending countries. It is available on five continents in over 90 countries, attracting tens of thousands of international students each year.

Applicants who can establish personal and professional links to Hungary while enjoying high-quality education in the heart of Europe are offered more than 1200 full degree programmes, covering all higher education fields at all degree levels, including part-time and doctoral programmes

2026 Government of Hungary Scholarships Requirements:

To be considered for the 2026 Government of Hungary Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • All international applicants are eligible to apply for Scholarship.
  • Citizens of Hungary or having Dual Nationality with Hungary cannot apply for scholarship.
  • Students having age more that 18 Years as of 31st August 2026.
  • Applicants not studying in any Hungary Higher Institution on Self Financed based.
  • Students who avail this scholarship before cannot apply for scholarship.

2026 Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Reward

For Bachelor’s, master’s, one-tier master’s and non-degree programmes:

  • Tuition-free education – exemption from the payment of tuition fee
  • Monthly stipend – non-degree, bachelor’s, master’s and one-tier master’s level: monthly amount of HUF 43,700 (cca EUR 110) contribution to the living expenses in Hungary, for 12 months a year, until the completion of studies
  • Accommodation contribution – free dormitory place or a contribution of HUF 40,000/month to accommodation costs for the whole duration of the scholarship period (Please note that if the student does not live in the dormitory, the HUF 40,000/month is a contribution to that rental costs, and in bigger cities – especially in the capital city – this contribution would not cover the full amount of rental costs.)
  • Medical insurance – health care services according to the relevant Hungarian legislation (Act LXXX of 1997, national health insurance card) and supplementary medical insurance for up to HUF 65,000 (cca 170 EUR) a year/person

Doctoral programmes

  • Tuition-free education – exemption from the payment of tuition fee
  • Monthly stipend – doctoral level: according to the current Hungarian legislation, the monthly amount of scholarship is HUF 140,000 (cca EUR 365 for the first phase of education (4 semesters) and HUF 180,000 (cca EUR 470) for the second phase (4 semesters) – for 12 months a year, until completion of studies
  • Accommodation contribution – free dormitory place or a contribution of HUF 40,000/month to accommodation costs for the whole duration of the scholarship period (Please note that if the student does not live in the dormitory, then the HUF 40,000/month is a contribution to that rental costs, and in bigger cities – especially in the capital city – this contribution would not cover the full amount of rental costs.)

2026 University of Oxford Clarendon Scholarship Requirements:

To be considered for the University of Oxford Clarendon Scholarship, you must note the following:

  • Clarendon Scholarships are awarded on the basis of outstanding academic merit and potential to graduate students from all around the world.
  • Scholarships are tenable in all subject areas and are open to candidates who apply for a new master’s or DPhil course by the January admissions deadline.
  • All degree-bearing courses at graduate level in any subject are eligible. This encompasses all full-time and part-time master’s and all DPhil courses. A list of all the graduate courses offered by the University of Oxford can be found on the Courses page.
  • Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma courses are not eligible for this scholarship.

Oxford Clarendon Fund Scholarship Duration and Reward

  • All Clarendon Scholarships cover tuition and college fees in full.
  • Scholars on a full-time course receive a generous annual grant for living costs – which will be at least £18,622 for 2024-25. Scholars on a part-time course will receive a study support grant, to assist with non-fee costs. Scholars on a part-time course will receive a study support grant, to assist with non-fee costs.
  • The scholarships are normally offered for the full period for which you are liable to pay tuition fees to the University, which is usually the same as the length of your course.
